It's beginning to look alot like Christmas! Well, that's how the song goes anyway. It's rainy and in the 80s here this week....not like Christmas at all! But I'm beginning to piece together my Christmas collections. I've got 3 shows coming up (two in October and one in November), so I'm trying to get my Christmas designs ready. We have some very whimsical, funky items in the works as well as some more traditional ones too. A little of something for everyone.

This cute design above is one I did this afternoon. It's a polka dotted cross design made for our tshirts (available for everyone from newborns to moms). And of course, we love to coordinate everything (yes, my poor kids are subject to a mom who matches their clothes, shoes, hairbows, etc. all the time...but they're girls living in the what else should you expect?!?). So we'll have this sweet design in gift stickers, return address labels, Christmas invitations, and Christmas cards. I can't wait to get them all on my sites!

Until then, just wanted to share that all stickers are 50% off this order with an invitation purchase. So if you're throwing a party, now's the time to order!

School's In Session

Just in case you haven't checked it out, we have SO many adorable personalized products for back to school. We have personalized metal lunch boxes that are selling like crazy! Inside those lunch boxes we like to tuck our laminated wipe-off lunch box notes. My oldest daughter has gotten a sweet note every day of kindergarten so about working on those reading skills! We also have bag tags for lunch boxes, backpacks, diaper bags, nap mats, and more. Mommy cards too...for sharing your contact information with all of your new mom friends at school! And we have "from the mom of ..." notepads for you to send notes to teachers. Check back soon because we're going to offer some fill in the blank school excuse notes soon! And don't forget the teachers....what a great way to say thanks for getting ready for school by giving her a notepad or set of notecards! She'll definitely need them, and she'll appreciate the kind gesture!

And of course, we're crazy about stickers. Great for labeling folders, books, notebooks, pencil cases, and more!

It would take us forever to put every design on every remember that you can request any design to be placed on the product of your choice. You get to choose your font, font color, and design!

Enjoy the browsing....happy shopping!

A Sneak Peek at our Christmas Collections

This morning while we were having our lazy PJ day at home, Abby so graciously modeled her new Christmas tshirt for me! This is out of my new Fun and Funky Tree Collection for Christmas. Abby actually helped me design the trees (she wanted the hot pink star on top). So she was very excited when she woke up this morning and saw the shirt Mommy had made for her! I have a feeling we may be wearing it lots way before Christmas! As always visit our shop often to see our newest designs! I've been adding a few lately in our "new designs" section as well as our holiday sections. Enjoy...and start thinking about your Christmas card and sticker needs for this year!

Round Stickers...are for everything (almost)!

At Isabella's 4th birthday party (just a few weeks ago), we used our big round stickers for so many things! They added just the right touch to make her party super sweet! Her party was an outdoor backyard water party theme, complete with sprinkler games, wading pools, pool toys, the giant beach ball sprinkler, and lots of cool treats!

I scored this cute pail at Target for quite a great price! Added my polka dotted whale sticker and voila! a very cute way to keep the Gogurt cold for our little guests!

I also made the most yummy and cute (if I may say so myself) ice cream treats. Rather than just scooping a spoonful of ice cream onto their plates, I made these "worm treats" ahead of time. You take cookies n cream ice cream and push it into a clear plastic cup. Then top with broken Oreo pieces. Leave in the freezer until ready to serve. I added the gummy worms right before serving. These were a hit with both parents and kids! Especially the ones who love chocolate!

The kids also got to "go fishing" for one of their snacks. We used the same clear plastic cups . Some had fishing poles (otherwise known as pretzel sticks). Others were filled with bait (otherwise known as peanut butter). And of course we had goldfish. You take your pole and bait it to catch a fish to eat! My kids still beg to eat these, and of course I say yes!

And of course we sealed her handcut swimsuit invitations with the sandbucket round stickers with our return address on them!

I thought I'd share this because we used our round stickers to add some creative touches to her party. Did the kids notice? Not really....but I had so much fun putting it together...and they had fun eating it all!!

Oh, birthdays are why I do this. I love planning parties where everything is coordinated and themed! Just love it! On the horizon? Either a pumpkin picking or horseback riding party for Abby's 6th birthday!

Two new awesome designs!

I've added two new designs to my collection, one for boys and one for girls. Each can be placed on notecards, round stickers, square stickers, tshirts, bag tags, lunch box notes, memo pads...have I named everything yet?

The pirate was inspired by friend Amy who is having a pirate party for her little boy Austin (hence the name on the example). The owl...well, fall is around the corner and I see owls everywhere I go (tons in Target right now) I thought it was high time I had an owl in my shop.

Enjoy these two new additions to the Duck Duck Goose family!

And the giveaway winner is....

Aik! Congrats on winning a set of 10 folded notes of your choice! Contact me via email (duckduckgoosedesigns [at] yahoo [dot] com) or commenting here to give me the details of your order.

And do you want to hear the scientific way I picked the winner? I asked my 5 year old her favorite number out of the numbers 1-7 (since we had 7 entries), and she picked 6. (Maybe because she's turning six soon? Who knows why?) So there you have it. My own random number generator, Abby!

Oh...we're getting close!

We are so least I am! We are finally in the last stages before we open our online doors at (Don't click quite'll just get a prompt to log in...and if you're not me or Matt, you can't log in!). I've been working steadily to upload products while Matt's finishing up the welcome page. We will most likely open the site before we get all the product loaded because it takes some serious time to load product! And we have tons of it. I have so many designs (and so many more that I haven't even gotten onto the computer). But our philosophy is to take it slow and steady. We've also been filling a few orders off Etsy. Yay! Thanks for everyone who has ordered. We hope you love your packages. I'm going to download my camera pictures and post a few pics of the cute orders I sent out Monday. And if you are looking for a great end of the year teacher gift...check out our teacher memo pads on Etsy. ( As for now, it's off to try to convince Ali Kate to nap. She and Isabella are giggling rather than sleeping as I type. Those two....they are a mess!

New Mommy Cards!

Mommy cards are one of my all-time favorite stationery gifts! These cards are for moms to be able to quickly and stylishly exchange contact information. Great for when you meet new moms at soccer, dance lessons, preschool, and more. Instead of searching for an old receipt in your purse, just hand out your mommy card with all of your info. These are available in almost every design we offer (too cute if you have coordinating folded notes to go with it!). These make a great gift for any mom for any occasion (or just as a small thank-you happy!).

This chocolate and bubblegum crazy dot is so fun for that outgoing mom! In bright can customize this as you wish! Great for moms with small businesses too (add your website in your contact info).

Oh, I love this sophisticated mommy card for the trendy mom who wants to share her contact information for playdates, carpool, and more! Great for the busy mom who doesn't have free hands to jot down her contact info...stylish and practical! These make a great gift for a new mom or any busy mom you know. A sweet happy to give for any occasion!

Teacher Memo Pads

My sister ordered several memo pads for her son's teachers and some co-workers. I just had to show this one off! Laura asked me to draw a group of kindergarteners (and make one look like Reid). The one with glasses is my nephew. I thought this turned out too cute, so I've listed this on Etsy. The pads turned out fabulous!

Mommy Memo Pads

Posted by Picasa
Oooh...I am over the top excited about these. I have been so excited about getting my memo pad making machine...and my first mommy pad turned out fabulous! I was very proud of it! I'm going to offer tons when we open our site.. I'm loving my memo pad!

Scalloped and Double Circle Boy

Mommy really wanted some cute pics of the kids...the other two girls don't have their Duck Duck Goose shirts they ran off to play while I snapped these. Here's the double circle single initial shirt for boys on Grant. I just LOVE it. I paired it with some Little English blue gingham shorts, and it is adorable. Perfect for the warm summer days up ahead.

Single Monogram Tee

A little friend of ours is going to get this tomorrow as a gift at her first birthday party. I think it's just oh too cute! I love pink and green in case you can't tell already! My favorite color combination!

Blonde Girl Tee

Here's the blonde girl's actually for a friend whose party was cancelled due to she'll have to wait to get this. It looks just like her! I know she's going to love it.

Scalloped Tee

Here's my oldest daughter in one of my very favorite designs, the scalloped tee. This one is done in pink and green...I made it to match her Anavini capris. I didn't have a matching top, but I loved the capris and had to buy them. So this design was totally inspired by these pants. Isn't she adorable?

Our Etsy Shop

So while we're waiting for Matt to finish up've decided to list some items in a new Etsy shop. Yes, I dived into the Etsy world, and I'm very excited about it! I've started by listing my t-shirts...oh yes, I'm super excited about these. I made them for my kids and some birthday gifts, and I decided I had to offer them in my store. So....drumroll please....I'm going to share some photos of what the shirts look like in "real life!"

My Etsy shop is located at (duck duck goose designs was already taken to my disappointment!).
